Banyards Farm and The BarBee Box
We offer giant hot dogs produced from our rare breed Berkshire pigs, butcher’s quarter pounders and bacon rolls from our converted horse box. All produced as sustainably as possible. We can cater for events, weddings, parties etc. Also offering home reared meat from our smallholding including pork, lamb and beef.
We decided to try our hand at outside catering approx 7 years ago to add value to our amazing sausages. Following a slow start from a gazebo (not ideal) we gradually got much busier so converted an old Bay Hill horse box. The response has been fantastic, people love what we have done, and our food speaks for itself.
Our sausages are from our home reared rare breed Berkshire pigs and we use local butchers for the burgers and bacon (although sometimes we have some of our own available.
Whilst outside catering; we try and restrict waste and recycle the majority of the rubbish; also using cans, bio degradable cups, napkins and reusable plates and cutlery for weddings.
We also sell our meat to our discerning customers who usually come back for more, (and all three), that’s beef, lamb and pork. We try to be as sustainable as possible in the rearing of our animals buying feed in bulk when needed, but mostly aiming to graze for as long as possible.
We believe in being competitive, but not scrimping on taste.
