I am a Wymondham-based artist printmaker who creates intaglio collagraph prints and hand-drawn, digitally coloured pattern designs. Original artwork, gift and homeware, licensing, commissions and workshops.
My work is bright, beautiful and unique, fusing traditional printmaking techniques with bold, precise pattern designs. Original artwork is available framed or unframed and reproduction prints are available on a range of gift and homeware. I am a bona fide, roll up your sleeves one-woman creative looking for ways to stand out from the mass-produced, environmentally questionable retail onslaught.
My process is called ‘collagraphy’ which is a traditional printmaking technique using simple materials put together in a unique and original way. The most common feedback I get is that my work makes people smile because of its quirky style and ability to evoke happy memories or simply resonate with people in a positive and personal way. From original, limited edition collagraph prints to my range of gift and homeware that features reproductions of these prints, my product range is environmentally conscious, made in the UK and designed to last using high quality and often archival materials.
I am a Heath Robinson-style problem solver and a firm believer in sharing knowledge to help and educate others in their creative practice. I am available for commission work and run workshops for all ages teaching people to ‘think outside the box’ through the medium of printmaking. When you look at a pasta machine in a charity shop and see a portable print press you know the sky is the limit!
