Here at Buy Local Norfolk we know how important it is to support local independents, and so as we find out about local fayres and markets, where you’re likely to find local businesses to support and have fun, we’ll be adding them to this guide!

If you know of a local event taking place that’s supporting local independent businesses please drop us an email to office@buylocalnorfolk.org.uk and we’ll add it to the list below.

The Aylsham Show

29th August

Blickling Estate, Blickling, Norfolk NR11 6NF

The Aylsham Show is a traditional one-day show on August Bank Holiday Monday. For over seventy years, the show has been at the heart of Norfolk’s agricultural and social calendar!

Visitors will find something that caters to all tastes. We have animal exhibitors and competitions, as well as wonderful displays in the main ring. Sideshows such as classic cars, the starting handle club (for classic engines) and many more offer so much to keep everyone entertained.

The show is a popular day out for families (children 16 and under enter free and car parking is free!) and we welcome well-behaved dogs on leads. You can buy discounted tickets online and locally, or full price at the gate on showday.

Visitors will find a tempting array of catering options – from a quick snack to a three-course, sit-down meal. We also offer the chance to become a member of the Aylsham Show, giving you access to special member benefits and access to members’ only areas on showday.
