  3. Invitation to Tender: Managing Buy Local Norfolk’s Social Media Channels

Are you a member of Buy Local Norfolk? Does your expertise include social media marketing? If so, we encourage you to submit a tender to take on our social media management.

The social media channels in question are:

  • Twitter
  • Facebook – public page and members’ group
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram.

You will be required to:

  1. Schedule regular posts on Twitter, Facebook and messenger to celebrate member anniversaries and drum up interest in our networking events
  2. Create at least 2-3 original Tweets per day, one Facebook and Instagram post per day, and one LinkedIn post per week. These posts should encourage engagement, conversation and support for Buy Local Norfolk and our members
  3. Interact with our followers by liking, sharing, commenting on and reposting relevant content
  4. Monitor and respond to comments or direct messages, or refer these on to a Director in a timely fashion.

We need someone with the technical know-how and passion for small business to help revitalise our social media presence. Done well, we believe our social media channels can help grow our membership and get more people thinking about where they buy their goods and services from, prioritising local businesses. The right partner will help us champion our members’ businesses and celebrate their triumphs, create a real sense of community amongst members and help boost the numbers attending our networking events.

The successful tender will need to demonstrate the type of content they can produce, along with some examples of suggested posts. We would also like you to show us that you have the capacity to produce content regularly. You will be required to produce a monthly report with key stats on how our social media is performing.

How to apply:

If you are interested in taking on this role, please prepare a short proposal outlining your experience, your approach, and a regular monthly charge for fulfilling the above responsibilities.
