Welcome to our first newsletter. We hope to bring you up to the minute information about what's going on in the world of buy local. If you have anything that you would like to share with the rest of the buy local membership, please email details to us at: info@buylocalnorfolk.org.uk. We're especially interested in any events you may have coming up, as well as any news about your business. If you have any suggestions for anything you'd like to see included in these communications, please get in touch.

buy local business to business discount scheme

All members wishing to offer a discount can inform other buy local members by displaying the discount symbol within their individual directory listing.

The symbol will also be visible on the home page.

Please provide Debbie Harvey, buy local Coordinator with details of the discount and any time scales which may apply to the offer. Details of this will also be added to your listing.

Opportunity for shared cost advertising on the buses within Norwich City

Any members interested in advertising on an external banner on the First buses within Norwich City, may now be able to do so at an affordable cost.

Members referral awards

Referring new members to buy local can qualify your business for a bronze, silver or gold award in recognition of your achievement.

Please ask locally owned businesses that you refer, to complete the section letting us know where they have heard about buy local, on the application form or online sign up.

Membership application forms will be supplied to all members with the new 2008 certificates and stickers.

Awards will be presented at a buy local anniversary and awards dinner on May 13th, venue and details to be confirmed.
